How much does a private Nashville food tour cost?
Private tours start at $180 per person for groups of 12 or more on the non-alcohol package, and $198 per person on the alcohol package. Smaller groups (4 to 11 guests) are priced higher per person to cover guide and venue minimums. See the full pricing table above. All rates include the 20% service fee. Tennessee sales tax (9.75%) is added at booking.
What is the minimum group size?
Four guests. We can accommodate groups up to 30+. Larger groups can be split across multiple guides or routed through alternate restaurants to keep the experience intimate at every stop.
Can we customize the route or restaurants?
Yes. Our standard private tour follows the same six-stop downtown Nashville route as our public tour, but private groups can request modifications. Common customizations include alternate stops for dietary restrictions, themed routes (whiskey-focused, Southern classics, sweet treats), and start times that fit your itinerary. Tell us what you have in mind in your inquiry.
What's included in the price?
Food at six locally owned restaurants, all beverages (alcoholic or non-alcoholic depending on the package), three hours with a founder-trained local guide, the 20% service fee, and gratuity for your guide. Sales tax (9.75%) is added at booking. Optional add-ons like custom signage, take-home favors, and themed cocktails are available on request.
How far in advance should I book?
We recommend booking 4 to 8 weeks ahead for weekends and 2 to 4 weeks ahead for weekdays. Peak season (April through October, plus December) fills up faster. Last-minute requests are sometimes possible, especially for weekday tours. Reach out and we'll let you know what's available.
Do you handle dietary restrictions?
Yes, and we do it well. Gluten-free, vegetarian, vegan, dairy-free, nut allergies, and most other restrictions are accommodated with notice. Each restaurant on our route is briefed in advance so your guests have their alternatives waiting when they sit down. Tell us about your group's needs in your inquiry.
Are private food tours good for corporate events?
Corporate groups are one of our most popular private tour categories. We have hosted retreats, client entertainment dinners, conference offsites, and team-building events for companies of all sizes. Private tours work well for groups of 8 to 30 and can include custom welcome remarks, branded handouts, or a debrief space at our final stop.
What's the difference between the alcohol and non-alcohol package?
Both packages include the same food at all six restaurant stops. The alcohol package adds a beer pairing at our BBQ stop and two whiskey cocktails at our final distillery. The non-alcohol package includes non-alcoholic beverages and a house mocktail at the distillery instead. Mixed groups (some alcohol, some not) are easy to accommodate, just let us know.
What is your cancellation policy?
A 20% deposit holds your date. The deposit and any add-on costs already incurred are non-refundable, but transferable to a different date based on availability.
Can you accommodate groups larger than 30?
Yes. Groups of 30 to 75+ are split across multiple guides on parallel routes. Each sub-group has its own guide and identical experience, then everyone reunites at the final distillery stop. This works especially well for corporate retreats and large family reunions.
